Organized in 1982, the purpose of the guild is to provide a supportive environment for persons interested in weaving, spinning, knitting and other fiber arts and to teach and promote the knowledge and use of fiber arts in the community. Members of the guild participate at various fairs, take part in demonstrations at local schools and are active in The Living Legacies Exhibit sponsored by APVA in Fredericksburg. http://sites.google.com/site/fswguild/
